1st Pattern Fairbairn Sykes Commando Knife

The 1st Pattern Fairbairn Sykes Commando Knife is made to the Ministry of Defence specifications of 1940. Renowned for its elegance and balance, this dagger was the weapon of choice for British commandos during World War II.

It features a 7″ double-edged carbon steel blade, with options in polished or blackened steel. The ricasso (between the cross-guard and the start of the sharpened edge) is stamped with “J NOWILL & SONS SHEFFIELD ENGLAND” and the trademarks. The cross-guard has an S-shaped design, and the handle is knurled for secure handling. The handle is available in brass, steel or blackened finish.

It comes with a beautiful leather sheath. We offer an etching service for the ‘F S Knife’ logo on the ricasso. Please enquire for any other etching on the blade or ricasso.

Price range: £153.40 through £160.25
